CityMatters is a free community driven newspaper for the city of London, covering everything from current affairs to community news and events at the heart of England’s favourite city. CityMatters were a special case for the team because they came with a large existing fanbase. The history of the publication is rooted in the rich tradition of the former ‘London and City Docklands Times’ newspaper. An online publication that bridged the rich and diverse interests of London for all ages.
Therefore creating the most suitable website for this project required designing a WordPress Specialist level format and integrating it with online PDF viewing software. This helped reinvent the traditional magazine experience for the new virtual age. For this client, it was necessary to combine the elements of the longstanding magazine fan base and integrate it with the fast-growing demands of the new internet market.
